In 1983, Patricia Clarke delivered a baby boy whose size immediately drew widespread attention. Kevin Robert Clark weighed more than 16 pounds at birth, surprising hospital staff and making local news. His remarkable weight set a record at Community Memorial Hospital and became one of the most notable birth stories in New Jersey at the time.

Today, at around 6-foot-9, he says there are very few days when someone doesn’t comment on it.

Kevin later served in the military and now lives with his wife, who is 6 feet tall, and their Great Dane.
