Are you ready for a spring-inspired porch decor tour?
One of my favorite things about this old farmhouse is the porches, three of them! One next to the kitchen, one leading into the chicken yard and one running around for the front. Doesn’t that give you a glimpse into life in 1906?
The front porch had a mishap some time ago when the concrete got too heavy for the wooden porch it was poured over (um, what’s wrong with that picture???) and a significant portion collapsed. I wasn’t home at the time, but my kids tell me it felt like an earthquake. Such is life in a fixer upper!
To be honest it’s still not fixed, I think we’re scared to hear the price of a project like this, but anyway I keep decorating this porch with each new season.
