For 45 years, a woman kept a childhood photograph showing herself and her younger sister, Grace, sitting together on porch steps. After their mother’s passing and their father’s absence, the sisters entered foster care and were eventually adopted by different families. Although she grew up in a loving home, the older sister never abandoned her promise to find Grace.
Over the years, she contacted adoption agencies, hired investigators, and joined reunion groups without success. At age 52, she finally received a message that led to an emotional meeting with Grace.
