The Three Little Pigs decided to go out for dinner one evening, excited to enjoy a meal together. When the waiter came to take their drink orders, the first pig smiled and said, “I’ll have a Sprite.” The second pig added, “I’ll take a Coke.” The third pig paused for a moment and then said, “I’d like water—lots and lots of water.” The waiter found it a bit unusual but wrote it down and returned shortly with their drinks.
When it was time to order food, the first pig chose a large, hearty steak, while the second pig went with a lighter salad. The third pig once again requested, “Water. Lots and lots of water.” As the meal continued, dessert orders followed. “I’ll have a banana split,” said the first pig. “A root beer float for me,” said the second. The third pig repeated enthusiastically, “Water! Lots and lots of water!” Curious, the waiter finally asked why he kept ordering only water. The pig smiled and replied, “Because someone has to go ‘wee wee wee’ all the way home!”
Meanwhile, on a nearby farm, a farmer was raising a group of pigs. One day, a visitor asked what he fed them. The farmer replied, “Corn, acorns, and leftovers.” The visitor, who represented an animal welfare organization, expressed concern and issued a fine. A few days later, another official arrived and asked the same question. This time, the farmer answered, “Steak, salmon, shrimp, and caviar.” The visitor reacted strongly, saying it was excessive, and issued another fine.
Soon after, a third visitor came with the same question. The farmer, now unsure how to respond, said, “I give each pig five dollars and let them choose for themselves.” The answer avoided further issues and ended the situation on a light note. Sometimes, a creative response can be the easiest way to handle unexpected challenges, and a bit of humor can make any story more enjoyable.
