In 1983, Patricia Clarke gave birth to Kevin Robert Clark, a baby who quickly drew attention because of his remarkable size at birth. Weighing more than 16 pounds, he became the largest infant delivered at Community Memorial Hospital and was widely reported to be among the biggest babies born in New Jersey at that time. The unusual birth immediately captured public interest and became a widely discussed story in local and national media.
Despite his exceptional size, Kevin was healthy, and his early life soon brought unexpected public attention. As an infant, he appeared on well-known television programs such as Saturday Night Live and Good Morning America. As he grew older, his height continued to attract curiosity. By the age of 12, he had already reached a height of about 5 feet 7 inches, and by the time he was in junior high school, he stood approximately 6 feet 5 inches tall.

Kevin developed a sense of humor about the attention his height received. He often joked about it by saying he was “5-foot-21,” turning the frequent questions about his stature into lighthearted conversations. When people asked whether he played basketball, he would sometimes respond humorously by asking if they played miniature golf. His easygoing attitude helped him handle the curiosity that followed him throughout childhood and adulthood.

Now around 40 years old, Kevin stands about 6 feet 9 inches tall and has grown accustomed to the attention his height brings. He once shared that it is rare for a day to pass without someone asking how tall he is. A former soldier, Kevin now lives with his wife, who is also tall, and their Great Dane. Over the years, he has adapted to the practical challenges of his height while continuing to move forward with confidence and a positive outlook.
