One of our favorite summertime activities is collecting driftwood on the beach at our family home on Lake Huron, Ontario. It’s fun to imagine where these nature-made pieces came from, how far they’ve traveled, and how unique each little branch is. We worried early on that we would run out of driftwood craft ideas, but they just keep coming! Here are over a dozen reasons to pick up some beach wood this summer.
We also thought it would be a fun opportunity to highlight some of our favorite driftwood crafts to make here on Sustain My Craft Habit. Scan them all and let us know which one is your favorite in the comments below! And if you’re wondering where to buy driftwood for crafting, visit our very own Etsy shop where we’re happy to fulfill custom driftwood orders.
