Beaded curtains are very easy to make and they always add artistry to your home and the significance of making them yourself is that you will be able to make the most appropriate designs. You can either make the colored string, clear beaded curtain or the patterned beaded curtains.
Patterned beaded curtains
In order to make patterned beaded curtains, you have to select the most appropriate design for instance the bird shaped beads, the multi colored or the small toy fish beads. Arrange your strands and colored straws into place.
Measure the width and length of your window because it helps determine the exact length of your curtains, when you are sure of the exact length, you can start working on your beaded curtains, cut the required length of the string and tie knots on one of its ends to make a loop.
String your beads and straws of choice into the string then tie another knot at the second end of the string; this will form a loop that will be the top of the curtain. Repeat the same process to several strings until you get the required length.
Hang the curtain on the window; first, you have to assemble the curtain rod and attach them on the window or the door way using brackets, place each of your beaded curtain loops onto the curtain rods and your curtain will look glamorous.
You can repeat the same procedure if you select the colored strings, clear beaded curtain. The only difference is that you will be using strings that resemble the beads.
